The Iron Throne

The Iron Throne is an asymmetric monstrosity of spikes and jagged edges and twisted metal. The throne was constructed by Aegon I Targaryen from the melted, twisted, beaten, and broken blades surrendered by his enemies, or wrenched from the hands of the dying. According to the songs, it took a thousand blades to make. George R. R. Martin has described the Iron Throne as "massive", "ugly", and "asymmetric". The throne is a symbol of conquest.

I wanted to give you guys my own interpratation of the throne, while it’s been created. Thank you everyone, who liked, commented and shared my version of the throne, so this one is for you! But please remember, we artists can only add our own angle to it, since this is not the first and will not be the last Iron Throne depiction. It is so plausable of each of these depictions to be much different from each other. Because you know, we artists didn’t create it, but Aegon did!
